Cavatini & Banana Split Dessert


1/2 cup each 3 different pasta noodles (your choice), partially cooked
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger; cooked
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 large stick pepperoni, sliced
1 can sliced mushrooms
Small can black olives, sliced
1 small can tomato paste
1 can tomato sauce
1 15 oz. can petite tomatoes
1 package spaghetti seasoning
1 cup water
8 oz. mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large pot, cook pasta until it is partially cooked; drain and set aside.  In a large skillet, brown hamburger with green pepper and onion, until meat is no longer pink.  Add pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes, seasoning mix and water; cook until heated through.  Add cooked pasta; mix well.  Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray; add cavatina and top with cheese.  Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Banana Split Dessert

1 stick butter, melted
2 cups graham crackers crumbs

2 cups powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 sticks butter
3-4 bananas
1 large can pineapple, drained
8 oz. Cool Whip
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, cut

Combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs; press into a 9 x 13 inch pan or Tupperware container.  In a large mixing bowl, add powdered sugar, eggs, butter; beat for 15 minutes; spread onto crust.  Next, layer 3-4 bananas on filling followed by pineapple and Cool Whip.  Top dessert with nuts and cherries.  Chill for 1-2 hours before serving; refrigerate leftovers.
