First, you find a pay per view movie you would like to watch, either in the guide or by tuning to one of the PPV channels (801-807) and then press the OK button on your remote. If the movie is available to order, you will see a buy button on the menu bar. With the arrow keys on your remote, arrow over to the buy button and press the OK button. You will be asked if you want to buy or not buy the movie. If you press buy, you have ordered the movie. If the movie has not yet started at the time you place your order, you can cancel the movie by pressing the buy button again and canceling your order. If it has already started, you can not cancel it.
A nice feature to this way of ordering is that you can now order movies in advance. The TV Guide usually stores about 14 days of information and you can order any PPV movie in the guide. As an example, let’s say I want to order a movie that plays on Sunday. I can find the movie in the guide and then press the OK button on my remote, which will bring up the menu with the buy button for that movie. With the arrow keys on your remote, arrow over to the buy button and press the OK button on your remote. You will now see a screen that asks you if you want to buy or not buy the movie. Using the arrow keys on your remote, go to the buy icon and press the OK button on your remote. You have now purchased the movie. If you change your mind and want to cancel the movie at any time prior to it playing, you can go to the movie in the TV Guide listing, press the OK button on your remote, then arrow over to the buy button again, press the OK button on your remote and cancel your order.
You will now get a reminder on your screen when the movie is about to start and if I were to forget to tune to the channel on the night of the movie, the movie would be canceled and you would not be billed for the movie
